FEDERAL BUDGET WILL INCREASE PRESSURE ON RNSH

Member for North Sydney and Shadow Minister for Health, Joe Hockey, said today that the Rudd government’s decision to increase the threshold for the Medicare surcharge will have a disastrous impact on Royal North Shore Hospital.

Mr Hockey said that that up to 400,000 people across Australia will walk away from private health insurance as a result of these changes.
