Currently the North Sydney electorate extends from the western edge of Neutral Bay to the eastern edge of Gladesville and from the Harbour to Chatswood. It includes major business centres like North Sydney and Chatswood.

Where can I vote before polling day?

From the 2nd of August you can vote at the AEC pre-poll booth located at:

Hours: Monday- Friday 8:30AM to 5:30PM (Thursday night until 8PM), 09:00AM-4:00PM on the Saturday before polling day

From the 9th of August you can vote at the Crows Nest AEC pre-poll booth located at:

How can I request a Postal Vote?

If you are unable to attend a polling booth on the 21st of August you can request a postal vote. Postal Vote Applications can be obtained by calling 02-9929-9822 or emailing joe@joehockey.com

What should I do if I am overseas?

Once the election is called you can:

a) Request a postal vote from the AEC and a postal vote will be sent to you if you have an address overseas.

b) Vote at most Australian Embassies, High Commissions and Consulates around the world. For a list of these postings please go to http://www.dfat.gov.au/missions/. It is important to check that any particular Australian mission is operating as a polling place.

c) Request a postal vote from Australian Embassies, High Commissions or Consulates.

Can I vote outside the North Sydney electorate on Polling Day?

Yes. You can vote at any polling booth in NSW on election day. If you are intending to be interstate only certain interstate polling booths are available to cast an absentee vote so it is sensible to either request a postal vote or vote at a pre-poll centre before you leave.
